Melville Appointed to Premier Woodworking Exhibition for 2008
08 February 2008

The contract covers a number of services including electrical, shell scheme, registration, graphics, logistics, furniture, floor coverings and floor planning.
W8 Event Director John Smith-Bodden comments,”W8 is a combination of the old Woodmex and ASFI exhibitions that took place biennially at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Both exhibitions have been in existence for over 20 years dominating their respective sectors of the joinery and furniture manufacturing industries. Merging the two shows in 2006 was a logical progression for the shows to evolve into what will be a great W8 event at the NEC in October
John Smith-Bodden adds “We are delighted in awarding this contract to Melville. They have an excellent track record of delivering market leading events with high levels of customer service. W8 is very excited about this partnership and our exhibitors will only benefit from Melville’s expertise in exhibition and event services”
Ted Bloom, Group Commercial Director for Melville adds, “W8 is the leading woodworking event in the UK and we are delighted to be playing an integral part in it for 2008. Securing this contract is another first class example of the strength and depth of our products and services in the UK marketplace”
