Melville Logistics awarded ISO 9001 Accreditation

ISO 9001 accreditation is carried out by an independent body that assess all working practices within a business covering the following areas:
- Implementing a set of procedures that cover all the key processes in the business and ensuring through a monitoring process that they are effective.
- Checking working site practices and where appropriate applying corrective action
- Keeping adequate records
- Regularly reviewing the individual processes for effectiveness and facilitating continual improvement
This certification has only been achieved currently by about 5% of UK Businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the government and recognised globally so it’s a great step forward for the logistics team.
Becky Collins, Operations Manager at Melville Logistics was the principal driving force behind Logistics receiving the accreditation. It required an investment in people and training over a period of months. We’d like to give a big thank you to Becky for her effort and hard work.
