On A Winning Streak

Melville were delighted this year to receive two awards at the second annual Exhibition News Awards held on the 24th April at the Troxy theatre in East London. Attendees were greeted to paparazzi style welcome with cheering fans and a red carpet style entrance.
Votes were cast by readers of Exhibition News and subscribers to expoabc.com with the winners announced at the champagne gala dinner.
Melville Teamwork won the “Most creative use of space” award for the fabulous Pharaoh’s Palace hospitality suite at the Tutankhamun exhibition at London’s O2 arena.
Melville Creative Director Phil Baker who had worked tirelessly on the initial concepts then through to the design and build stage was there in person on the evening to pick up the award. He commented on the triumph “I’d like to personally thank all of our clients who voted for us. The Pharaoh’s Palace is a stunning environment and a great testament to the strength and depth of not only our design and production teams but also our ability to cross over into other aspects of design and build not just exhibition and events”
Melville Logistics Operations Director Matthew Williams also was a winner in the “One to Watch” category. This category was for people in the industry pinpointed as future leaders in the sector. Matthew started Melville Logistics from scratch in 2001 and year on year the business has seen double digit growth statistics. This growth have been largely due to Matthew’s drive and passion for the lifting and shipping business and I’m sure you will join us in congratulating him on his award.
