Food Ingredients Europe
Our aim is to provide innovative, exciting and vibrant event environments and throughout 2007 we delivered some outstanding work. During the last year, we provided shell scheme services at over 300 events across the country. One of the highlights included Food Ingredients Europe which took place at ExCeL London last October.
Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) is one of Europe’s leading food events. Held every two years, 2007’s event featured over 1000 exhibitors from across 40 countries, covering more than 60,000 sq metres of hall space. With so many international exhibitors at the show, we had to make exhibiting as easy as possible. So we worked together with event organisers, CMPI, to provide a range of value added service options, such as:
- Offering a high number of exhibitor packages with enhanced shell scheme options, specifically tailored to each exhibitor’s needs.
- Creating a special project team to handle exhibitor enquiries and orders pre-show. The same team worked on site during the build up and the show’s opening period, helping to maintain our high levels of customer service.
- Providing multi-lingual service desks during show build up.
In the week leading up to the show, we supplied and installed over 5200 sq metres of shell scheme, broken down into three enhanced options. In addition, we designed and built a series of international pavilions using our innovative Maxima Lite modular stand system. These created stunning exhibiting environments with a unique look and feel.FIE was a striking example of Melville Standfitting raising the bar in shell scheme. We worked closely with the organisers and exhibitors to first fully understand their individual needs and then provide inspired designs across a huge number of stands to create a stunning event environment.
