Event Management

Our event management team is perfectly formed providing a dedicated single point of contact philosophy to every event no matter our large or small.

Through this single point of contact you’ll be able to access all our expertise and maximising service levels to your exhibitors. Our department is organised into two teams, each client is allocated to one of these teams ensuring continuity. This structure delivers a consistent approach to event planning and show delivery.

Event management provides:

  • experience in all aspects of exhibitions and events including venue rules and regulations
  • 13-strong team supporting Melville’s event delivery, ensuring the smooth running of every show from pre-show planning through to show build up, open period and breakdown
  • IOSH qualified event managers, ensuring Melville is continually up to date with all the latest event health and safety requirements
  • post show we will co-ordinate our Customer Support Survey to obtain feedback from your exhibitors on our performance

We will also co-ordinate a post show meeting to discuss any issues, reviewing our performance allowing us to fine tune our approach and developing our partnership even further.

Customer Support Surveys

In 2008 we developed in conjunction with GES the implementation of our Customer Support Surveys. Our automated survey allows us to survey each and every exhibitor across the full range of our services across the full range of our shows. Applying our customer survey across our events enables us to:

  • obtain feedback from our exhibitors across a number of our services
  • highlights areas in service delivery for improvements
  • enables us to run process improvements show on show
  • improving best practice on a continual basis

It’s proved so successful in allowing us to measure our service levels that we plan to implement the survey across every one of our shows during 2008. In this way we can continue to improve our products and services, show after show, year after year.
